Cisco Career Certifications bring valuable, measureable rewards
to network professionals, their managers, and their employers. FYI
offers a Cisco CCNA course to prepare you for the Cisco CCNA 640-801
examination. This course is intended for Cisco customers and resellers,
or network engineers and administrators with limited knowledge of
Cisco products, and for network support staff, as well as CCNA and
CCNP candidates.
CCNA certfied professionals can install, configure, and operate
LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks (100 nodes
or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols:
IP, IGRP, IPX, Serial, AppleTalk, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP,
Ethernet, and Access Lists.
Examples of solutions a CCNA can offer based on training and real-world
experience:
* Optimize WAN through Internet access solutions that reduce bandwidth
and reduces WAN costs using features such as Filtering with Access
Lists, Bandwidth on Demand (BOD), and Dial on demand routing (DDR).
* Provide remote access by integrating dial-up connectivity with
traditional, remote LAN to LAN access, as well as supporting the
higher levels of performance required for new applications such
as Internet commerce and multimedia.
FYI can get technology professionals started on the Cisco Certification
path and help them earn the recognition and respect of the IT industry.
