In the dedicated instructor led class, the participants are from
the same business setting and have similar business requirements.
They will interact with the instructor as well as with each other
and will garner knowledge about the use of the system relating to
their own business. Skill selectors are utilized to group people
of like skills together in the classroom, thus each class participant
will receive value and a great learning experience.
When a system is totally new to the user, the best way of learning
is also through other people. Collaboration is stressed and supported
throughout the learning process. Engaging the learner is developed
into our learning programs and is utilized to ensure the required
learning outcomes are met.
FYI's policy is not to just show people how to do things but to
know where to go for the answers when they have questions. We strive
to show participants how to find the answers on their own. Thus,
part of the class is dedicated to what to do if you do not remember
or know how to do something. There is no such thing as cheating
and working with the person next to you is one of the best ways
to accomplish that (in the classroom and back at the office). The
support of their peers and their instructor are part of the process
to finding the answers once a person has the basics.
