MCSE Certification, designed by Microsoft, involves the ability
to provide complete technical support for its Network Operating
System, Windows. The certification requires passing seven independently-administered
tests.
FYI International offers instructor-led, hands-on learning solutions
to help students prepare to earn a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
(MCSE) on Microsoft Windows 2000 Certification. Participants are
required to take the four core courses: Network & Operating
System Basics #2151, Supporting Professional & Server #2152,
Supporting a Network Infrastructure #2153, and Implementing &
Administering Directory Services #2154. Students then choose three
additional courses from seven electives to continue their certification
path.
Although there are several course vatiations possible, all students
need to pass the following seven exams:
1. Installing, Configuring and Administering Windows 2000 Professional
(exam 70-210) or Installing, Configuring and Administering Windows
XP Professional (exam 70-270)
2. Installing, Configuring and Administering Windows 2000 Server
(exam 70-215)
3. Implementing and Administering Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure
(exam 70-216)
4. Implementing and Administering Windows 2000 Directory Services
(exam 70-217)
5. Desiging a Windows 2000 Directory Services Infrastructure (exam
70-219)
6. Desiging Security for a Windows 2000 Network (exam 70-220)
7. Designing a Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure (exam 70-221) |
